About KCL

History

Our Laboratory was established in 1983 by Professor Nizar Katrangi at it’s initial location in Al Hamra Street, Damascus.

At the time our lab adopted up to date techniques especially in chemistry and immunochemistry fields. 

In 1995 we re-located the lab to the current location, and we began to expand our test menu by utilizing high capacity equipment and advanced methods such as real time PCR and HPLC systems.

In 2008 Dr. Eyad Katrangi joined the group, the collaboration lead to establishing new departments and upgrading existing ones. He also focused on stream-lining customer experience and sample processing.

About KCL

Katrangi Clinic Laboratory main focus is to report the most accurate and precise lab results. This is achieved by applying up-to-date methods of analysis and constant upgrade and enhancement of laboratory departments.

Our lab is committed to international guidelines and standards in our policies.

KCL core department include Clinical chemistry, Immunochemistry (Endocrinology, Oncology, Drug monitoring), Hematology and Hemostasis, and Microbiology. The advanced departments at KCL include Molecular biology, Cytogenetics, flow cytometry, advanced analytical chemistry, and also a New Born Screening Program.

We provide specialized sample collection services by appointment at any location in Damascus.

We also provide our sample collection services to medical and non medical companies that are interested in monitoring employees health status.
