Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study of the cause, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood. It involves treating diseases that affect the production of blood and its components.
Hemostasis provides an extensive range of phenotypic coagulation assays including platelet aggregometry for the definitive diagnosis and laboratory management of patients with suspected and confirmed inherited or acquired bleeding disorders.

Siemens Healthineers’ high-volume hematology analyzer, the ADVIA® 2120i System with Autoslide* streamlines workflow by eliminating the majority of manual steps commonly performed to maximize productivity. It delivers the gold-standard in testing methodology for optimum results while offering the simplicity and flexibility you need for easy integration into lab.
The XT-2000i combines quantitative and qualitative reticulocyte measurement and so provides the true picture behind anaemia diagnosis and erythropoietic status. It also offers true quantitative IG counting as an option instead of mere flagging, and is very precise for RBC and PLT parameters thanks to hydrodynamic focusing.
The XT-1800i haematology analyser uses unique fluorescence flow cytometry (FFC) technology. FFC looks at RNA/DNA content, cell size and inner cell complexity rather than cell size alone. This generates remarkably accurate results and a superb WBC differential. Review rates and turnaround time are reduced due to specific fluorochrome labelling. The XT-1800i offers true quantitative IG counting instead of the flagging delivered by other technologies. And it’s very precise for RBC and PLT parameters thanks to hydrodynamic focusing.
The Sysmex® CA-1500 System quickly analyzes large quantities of samples with a high-level of accuracy. The compact, fully automated system performs clotting, chromogenic, and immunologic tests. Its advanced technology allows accurate sample identification and multiple dilution analysis (MDA) for detecting inhibitors during factor assays.
The Sysmex® CA-560 System is a compact, fully automated system featuring immunologic, coagulation, and chromogenic measurements in true random-access.
The Sysmex CA-560 System allows the small-volume lab, running up to 50 samples per hour, the convenience of performing all of its coagulation assays on one analyzer.
